Dr. Lerner practices in Celebration, Florida.


Dr. Sheri Lerner is author of "Bouncing Back From Pregnancy," is the co-founder of the Women of Wisdom, and practices in Celebration, Florida. She and Ben both hold a Bachelors in Nutrition, are avid runner/triathletes, and have 3 children, Cael, Nicole, and Skylar, who also live a Chiropractic lifestyle.

Margaret Sliwka, DC916 viewsDr. Margaret Sliwka graduated Cum Laude from Central Michigan University with a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry. While attending CMU, she was involved in Biochemical research at the university and contributed work to the field with her studies on dendrimers.

Dr. Sliwka received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University and while attending, she was heavily involved in the resurrection of the school newspaper, Vital Source, and was the Chief Layout Editor for two and a half years. Dr. Sliwka is currently practicing in the Netherlands, where she will extend the chiropractic messages of vitalism and wellness.

Danita Thomas Heagy, DC912 viewsDanita Thomas Heagy, DC has been in private practice since 1982 and an adjunct professor at Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida since 2006. Dr. Heagy is a graduate of Life University has been recognized by the chiropractic profession for her service to her community and colleagues by awarding her the prestigious Florida Chiropractor or the Year in 1999, the International Chiropractors Association Sports Chiropractor of the Year in 1996 and Life University's Alumna of the Year, also in 1996.

She has been published in peer-reviewed journals for her work and results with children in Chiropractic Pediatrics and in the ICA Review for her work with handicapped athletes. She serves on the post-graduate faculty of Life University and Palmer Chiropractic College Florida and is a former member of the Florida Board of Chiropractic, after being appointed by Gov. Lawton Chiles in 1995

Morgan Handt DC902 viewsDr. Morgan Handt has always had a passion for family chiropractic care, especially when it comes to infants and young children. She is practicing in Manhattan at The New York Chiropractic Life Center, along with her brother and father, Josh and Jay. Dr. Morgan has been a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (I.C.P.A.) for over four years.

Dr. Morgan’s mission is to empower families to live healthy, happy and active lives through chiropractic care and lifestyle choices. She knows that future generations can be stronger and live longer using the power within our body, known as innate intelligence – the inborn wisdom that controls, coordinates and regulates every function of our body, rather than drugs or surgery. “As a chiropractor, I work with that intelligence to make sure that the body is functioning at its maximum potential.”

Dr. Morgan pursued her chiropractic education at Life University, College of Chiropractic after obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree at New York University. While attending Life University, she was president of the Women’s Chiropractic Club, a New Beginnings student representative, and a member of the I.C.P.A. and the International Chiropractic Association (I.C.A.). Dr. Morgan has also been recognized and published by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges / Research Agenda Conference (ACC-RAC) / for a research paper that she co-authored, entitled “Patterns of Prenatal Maternal Stress Predict Outcomes in the Unborn Child: a Case Series”.

As the third chiropractor in her family, Dr. Morgan has an intimate understanding and appreciation for the responsibilities of having every member of the family under chiropractic care. She has often been overheard saying, “it’s not about your back, it’s about your health and life. Chiropractic is a lifestyle that everybody deserves.”
