G. Stanford Pierce DC405 viewsDr. Pierce, a third generation Chiropractor, has practiced in St. Petersburg, FL since 1968. He was the third recipient of the C.C.E. Sherman College Board Certification in Atlas Orthogonality and has attended over 50 symposiums in the analysis and treatment of neck conditions. In addition to being the founder and developer of the Advanced Orthogonal Techniques and Procedures program, Dr. Pierce was an instructor for the R.W. Sweat Foundation of Atlanta, Ga. He is currently the Lead Instructor on the Advanced Orthogonal Technique and designed the Advanced Orthogonal Percussion Adjusting Instrument. He has participated on the Extended Faculty of the Sherman College of Chiropractic, Life Chiropractic College West and Palmer College of Florida. He also developed the first Post Graduate Intern Program for Advanced Upper Cervical Doctors. Dr. Pierce is a dedicated Christian, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and enjoys an occasional game of golf.

His interest in the relationship between chiropractic care and people with mental disabilities began with the friendships he developed whilst working at Spectrum Care, an organization that supports people with mental and physical disabilities in the community.

Out of the chiropractic world, he currently volunteers with his local ambulance service as a first responder and is training for an upcoming marathon.
