H. Charles Woodfield, BS Pharmacy, D.C.360 viewsDr. Charles Woodfield serves as the Research Advisor to the Upper Cervical Research Foundation (UCRF). He was instrumental in the study design and manuscript preparation for the Hypertensions Study published in the May 2007, Journal of Human Hypertension.

His dedication to health-related services galvanized after serving as a Green Beret Medic with the US Army's 7th Special Forces Group. Upon honorable discharge, Pharmacy School at UNC-Chapel Hill compelled his interest in the intellectual challenges of chemistry and biochemistry in pharmaceutical disciplines, including research. Over a ten year career in hospital and retail Pharmacy, he increasingly became aware of an unfulfilled passion.

Desiring to be of more service, Dr. Woodfield enrolled at Palmer College of Chiropractic, graduating with Research Honors in 1995. He remained at Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research conducting a clinical trial and assisted in establishment of Palmer’s Practice Based Research Network. He met Dr. Marshall Dickholtz, Sr. during a PBR project kindling a passion investigating the NUCCA correction over the next several years, culminating the Hypertension Study with Dr. George Bakris. Previously, Dr. Woodfield served as research faculty at Sherman College of Chiropractic, Parker College of Chiropractic, and Life Chiropractic College West.

Krystal Drwencke DC359 viewsI was born in the suburbs of metro Detroit, where I became aware at a very young age, that I loved helping people. I thought, what better way to get along in life, then to help and advocate health in another human. It was after conveying this notion to myself, and with an avid interest in the human form, that I pursued biology at Oakland University. After spending time with various healthcare professionals, I was on my way to Life University's College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia. It was here I learned how carefully orchestrated the body is and how true health shows itself in an individual; to obtain health and not merely the absence of disease.

Always thirsty for more insight and methods to help my patients, I also began pursuing a neurology diplomate with the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies. After graduating from Life University in June 2011, I continue to pursue my knowledge with the Carrick Institute. I consider myself a lifelong learner and plan to use the fruits of my labor to help those I will be serving in the Buckhead community, here, in Atlanta.
