Amir Pourmoghaddam, PhDDr. Pourmoghaddam completed his PhD at the University of Houston in May 2012 focusing on biomechanics research.

He has research experience in the following areas:
Electromyography & Electrophysiology: Data Acquisition and Analysis of EMG signals and interpretation of the results using nonlinear biostatistical analysis.
SCI and TBI Studies: Working with Spinal Cord Injury individuals and evaluating muscular fatigue using EMG.
Clinical Data Collection: Working with elderly population and patients with Parkinson’s disease.
Statistical Analysis and data reduction: Biostatistical Analysis and data reduction with using SPSS.
Nonlinear Dynamics Analysis: MATLAB coding and Signal processing.
Neuromotor and Biomechanical data collection: Designing experiments and simulating neuromechanical movement of human body. Working with data acquisition devices, VICON motion capture device, EMG, Neurocom balance master, Biodex dynamometer, GaitRite System.
Functional MRI Analysis: fMRI analysis certification from the Mind Research Network at University of New Mexico for neuromotor and neurocognitive research.
Designing and Modeling Steel and Concrete Structure: Modeling with SAP and ETABS

Madeline Behrendt, D.C.Dr. Madeline Behrendt, BS, DC is an award winning holistic expert in women’s health, and consultant for natural beauties. As author, researcher and practitioner, her work travels the worlds of fashion, film, food, research, media and policy.


Prior experience working for creative innovators Givenchy and Ralph Lauren inform Dr. Madeline’s approach to work, lifestyle and beauty.


Dr. Madeline earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University (GA), and BS in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University (NJ).


Professional experience and features include: Presenter at the United Nations 45th annual session of the Commission on the Status of Women; CBS and ABC-TV, WebMD, Women’s Wear Daily (WWD), and SkyWest magazine. Contributed chapter “Anything, Nothing, Everything” to the book Pearls of Wisdom.
Dr. Madeline’s work on fertility insults received attention nationally including from RESOLVE, the National Infertility Association; the Association of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM); the San Diego Fertility Center, and recognition as the Researcher of the Year 2003 (World Chiropractic Alliance).

Robert Bello DCDr. Robert Bello was born in Middletown, NY, spent his adolescence in Wyckoff, NJ and graduated from Ramapo high school in Franklin Lakes, NJ where he was a three year varsity wrestler. After graduating from high school, Dr. Bello moved to California for a short stint where he was introduced to the concept of mind body connection as it relates to health, well being and optimal performance.
He came back to New Jersey to obtain his undergraduate degree in Finance from Ramapo College of New Jersey. During this pursuit he earned several Deans list selections and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Dr. Bello began pursuing more knowledge about mind body connection, which led him to experience many healing arts like chinese medicine, acupuncture, qi gong, tai chi, rolfing, chiropractic and various others.

He earned a Doctor of Chiropractic at Life University in Marietta, GA. He made the Dean’s list 12 out of 14 quarters, graduated Magna Cum Laude and fifth in his class of seventy-nine.

The same unrelenting, inquisitive energy that drove Dr. Bello through countless experiences searching for the most effective healing system is the same energy that led him to the Advanced Orthogonal system. With this brand of Upper Cervical Chiropractic, Dr. Bello saw the greatest variety of difficult cases getting better with the gentlest intervention. Dr. Bello is always looking to improve upon the todays body of knowledge and is currently working with a Diplomate in chiropractic functional neurology to champion new and innovative protocols to skyrocket the Advanced Orthogonal procedure beyond contemporary expectations.

Nathan Berner DCIt was during high school athletics that Dr. Berner first discovered chiropractic. As an all district high school quarterback, he experienced pain in his throwing shoulder. Dr. Berner continues "I wanted to get back on the field as soon as possible so I decided to try a chiropractor and to my amazement I was back on the field the next week."
Dr. Berner continued seeing a chiropractorthrough the basketball and baseball seasons and his interest in chiropractic grew. "I was particularly intrigued at how they could have such great results without the use of drugs
or surgery"

Chiropractic Education
Dr. Berner began his pre-chiropractoreducation at Miami (Ohio) University and graduated with a degree in Microbiology. After completing his study there, he attended Life University where he studied courses in biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, x-ray, and diagnosis, in addition to courses inchiropractor adjusting techniques.

Dr. Berner met his wife Yelena while attending Life University. Together they have a 3 year old son Kayden who has been under chiropractor care since birth. Dr. Berner and his family currently live in East Cobb and are active in the community.
Dr. Berner is a wellness expert and enjoys living an active, healthy, drug free lifestyle. He is also an advocate of proper nutrition and a positive mental attitude in order to achieve optimal health.
