Kelly Holt, BSc (Chiro), PGDipHSc
Dr Kelly Holt was part of the 1998 inaugural graduating class of the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. Besides his chiropractic degree he also holds a BSc majoring in physiology and a Post Graudate Diplmoa in biostatistics and epidemiology from the University of Auckland. He has completed post graduate chiropractic neurology training through the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies and is currently working on his PhD at the University of Auckland. Dr Holt’s PhD studies the effects of chiropractic care on sensorimotor control with a focus on falls prevention. In 2006 and 2008 Dr Holt received large scale research grants from the Australian Spinal Research Foundation to establish a chiropractic falls prevention research programme at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic.

Dr Holt combined chiropractic practice with teaching at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic for 10 years but is now working fulltime on his PhD and College commitments. In 2010 he was appointed the Assistant Director of Research at the College.
