Patricia Kuhta, D.C.
Dr. Kuhta is a 1994 graduate of Sherman College. She has served as the x-ray department director and x-ray supervisor for the past sixteen years. Dr. Kuhta is a professor of clinical sciences, board certified Atlas Orthogonal instructor, and oversees the clinical X-ray Internship ( XRI ) Program in the health center. She teaches several courses including Cervical X-ray Analysis, Applications of Clinical Radiology, and Atlas Orthogonal technique.

Dr. Kuhta is experienced in digital radiography and has conducted many formal group training sessions, and informal one-on-one training sessions on chiropractic analysis software and digital image acquisition hardware.

Dr. Kuhta conducted a research study on ‘The Effects of Lateral Cranial Translation on the Cervical Spine’ which was published in abstract form in the Journal of Chiropractic Education, spring 2007 and in manuscript form in the Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research, April 2008. She also had a study on ‘The Prevalence of Posticus Ponticus’ published in The Journal of Chiropractic Medicine, December 2010. She is a co-author
of ‘The Sherman System’ of Chiropractic Analysis and Adjusting, a Precise Unified Approach,’ 2008. Her areas of interest include spinal biodynamics, radiology and radiography related topics, upper cervical specific chiropractic techniques, and vertebral subluxation research.

Dr Kuhta is also a certified ‘low ropes’ outdoor challenge course facilitator, 2010.
